Our tradition of hosting a Grade 9 orientation day will continue! All Grade 9 students are invited to join us and meet their Ambassadors on Wednesday, August 28, from 9:00am (sharp) to 12:00pm. All students are asked to meet at St. Paul’s Catholic elementary school (located across the field from Assumption). This is an important morning. All grade 9’s will be assigned an Ambassador who will work with and support them throughout their Grade 9 year. They will also be given an orientation of the school including; locker assignments, timetables and classroom locations. Please do your best to attend.
We do have work to do. As a result, no staff or students will be permitted in the school until September 3. Our guidance department will be available by phone and email however. Also, the guidance department will be set up at St. Paul’s to support new registrations and scheduled appointments.
Also, it is critical that no parents, students or staff enter the building. It is a construction zone and unsafe for entry until September 3.
