Summer time is just around the corner! We would like to inform you about various virtual summer math camps at the University of Toronto.

Virtual Summer Camps

Math+ virtual summer camps are designed to keep students engaged in learning math and exploring math in real-life this summer!

Week 1 (July 12-16): Math Circle Problem-Solving

Week 2 (July 26-30): Project-Based Math


Week 3 (August 16-20): Math in Algorithm & Coding*New*
The strong and beautiful relationship between Algorithms, Coding, and Math will be introduced to young coders in this camp. Building on math knowledge, like geometry, solving math puzzles, and learning key programming concepts, students code together to solve challenges and mini projects.

  • Secrets to Math in Coding – Grade 5/6
  • Math in Everyday Life – Grade 6/7
  • Game Design with Block Coding – Grade 7/8
  • Strategy Games and Mathematical Puzzles – Grade 8/9
  • Introduction to Algorithms and Coding – Grade 9/10

High School Programs

Grade 9 Math Preparation Camp*New Section Added* 

This course is intended to support the transition from middle school to the greater complexity of high school math. It provides on-curriculum help to strengthen foundations in math, deepen understanding of the material, and increase enjoyment of the subject matter.

High School Advanced Math Club 

This course offers greater challenges in math and introduces real-life math applications to stimulate students’ interest in math. Special Topic: Math and Its Applications in Data Analysis
