BR HOSA Students Place 2nd in National Competition! On to Internationals June 24!

Last year a group of high school students at Bishop Reding CSS, Anaya Bhushan, Leila Tagu, Nawal Faysal, and Shanzey Ali, started an initiative called the Naps Project for HOSA Canada’s community awareness competitive event. They returned for the 2019 – 2020 school year and made a strong comeback placing second for the Spring Leadership Conference at the National level, proceeding to HOSA’s International Leadership Conference. The Naps Project was founded to promote the importance of sleep and encourage teenagers and adults to prioritize it. Their work involved online campaigning, in-person educational promotion, and partnerships with local businesses.
