Each year, the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) celebrates exceptional students across our school district at the Annual Student Awards of Excellence Ceremony.
This year, we are recognizing and congratulating our student recipients at our virtual awards ceremony taking place on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at 7:00 PM.
Congratulations Tam Mai who won the Student Award of Excellence for our school!
Bishop Reding student Tam Mai, an active member of the grade 12 leadership program, Leaders in Black, excels academically with a 99% average in the Advanced Placement program, athletically, as an OFSAA badminton gold medallist, and artistically, as an accomplished pianist. Dedicated to enriching the lives of others, Tam volunteers at Allendale Long Term Care and aspires to study medicine to improve our healthcare system for our most vulnerable national and international communities.

- The Student Awards of Excellence are presented annually to a student from each elementary and secondary school who has demonstrated outstanding qualities in Catholic leadership, family commitment, involvement in school affairs and community activities.
- The Spirit of Inclusion Award was created by the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC), and is presented each year to elementary and secondary students who demonstrate a commitment to school activities and to their community, making their peers feel valued and respected.
