Each year, the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) celebrates exceptional students across our school district at the Annual Student Awards of Excellence Ceremony.
This year, we are recognizing and congratulating our student recipients at our virtual awards ceremony taking place on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at 7:00 PM.

About Gabriela
Gabriela is a model Catholic leader at Corpus Christi through her commitment to her family and her school community. Gabriela has a positive outlook on life and takes an active role in her education. She recognizes the opportunities that living in Canada has provided her. In addition to her high academic achievements, Gabriela is a student trustee with our School Board. She is a servant leader who is approachable and friendly with her teachers and fellow students. Gabriela would like to dedicate her life to helping others. She is planning to study medicine following her undergraduate degree. Gabriela would like to help those who do not speak English as she is fluent in four languages.

- The Student Awards of Excellence are presented annually to a student from each elementary and secondary school who has demonstrated outstanding qualities in Catholic leadership, family commitment, involvement in school affairs and community activities.
- The Spirit of Inclusion Award was created by the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC), and is presented each year to elementary and secondary students who demonstrate a commitment to school activities and to their community, making their peers feel valued and respected.
