Hey HT! The month of February is black history month. We want all of you to continue to promote this month as a positive reinforcement of our community. Through recognition, preservation, and the promotion of the contribution of black people in our society we can see the gifts that everyone brings to our community.

Attention all female students

“Women as Career Coaches” is being held on the evening of Wednesday March 25th at the Burlington Convention Centre.

This event is designed to involve a variety of career women from different occupational pathways to help young women become better informed about the many options available to them in the world of work. Female mentors representing all occupational sectors will act as career coaches to empower young women to take control of their futures.

This event is open to all female students in grades 9 through 12.  The event is free to attend, and dinner will be provided.  There are limited spots available so please sign up online at www.hiec.on.ca or visit Student Services for more details.

Environmental Club

The Holy Trinity Environmental Action Club will be meeting every TUESDAY after school during the Second Semester.

If you are looking to find a new HT Club come on down to Room 103 at about 2:55 P.M. every Tuesday.

We are organizing Earth Day and Earth Week activities. Also we will be looking to support Australia’s recovery plans from the Wild Fires. Bike to School Days and Walk To School Days are also on the calendar.

Come on out and help with environmental issues in Oakville and on YOUR planet. There is only one Earth!

There is a unique opportunity for women who are interested in pursuing a career in first response. Camp Molly is a FREE camp that helps to train young women who are interested in a career in Fire Services. The application deadline is April 3, 2020. Trinity Live Arts

We are officially 2  weeks away from opening night of this year’s main stage production, TITANS OF BROADWAY! The show runs Wednesday March 4th, Thursday March 5th and Friday March 6th at 7:00 pm with doors opening at 6:30 pm.

This musical revue is an eclectic collection of musical numbers from Broadway shows such as The Addams Family, Hairspray, Wicked and Mary Poppins and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Tickets are now on sale and available only through School Cash On-Line for just $10.00 and will be ready to pick up the week of the show.

They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway, but our students will shine even brighter!

The Trinity Tones, HT’s Vocal Ensemble will begin gearing up for our spring concert on Monday March 9th. We are looking for new voices to come sing some movie and musical favourites with us. Practices are Monday afternoons until 4 p.m.

Any students interested in joining our Holy Trinity Drumline are asked to attend a brief meeting next Wednesday February 26th at 3:00 p.m. in room 332.
