There is a Young Women’s Conference coming up May 5th!! 

These conferences, held in conjunction with Skills Ontario Competition, are dedicated to showing female students that skilled trades and technologies careers offer many great opportunities. In a friendly, casual environment, students are able to explore career options and practice their networking skills as they meet women who work in skilled trades and technologies industries.

If you are interested in attending, please see Ms. Latimer in Student Services.

Hey, HT…Fringe 2020 is coming! It’s that time of year where I’m searching for directorial submissions!! So, If you are in grade 11 or 12 and would like to consider directing your own show, then listen up…this is for you!!

Rules:

1) Directors must be in grade 11 or 12, and each show proposal requires a team of two directors! 

2) Directors can either write an original piece

Or research and direct a “one act play” that is royalty free. 

For both options: use the stage as a creative platform to address an important theme or convey a message worth listening to. 

Submissions for directorial pieces need to be in by: Monday March 23rd at the latest.
