November is the designated Indigenous Awareness Month at the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB).
This month, and throughout the school year, students and staff will acknowledge the contributions and legacy of First Nation, Métis and Inuit peoples in Canada.
Indigenous Awareness Month is an opportunity to honour and recognize the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and strength of present-day Indigenous communities within our Board, and throughout Canada.
