Class of 2020 Update

Dear St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School 2020 Graduates, Parents and Guardians,

We hope that you are all transitioning well to life beyond the walls of Loyola.  We wanted to take this time to update you on some Graduation news.  We regret to inform you that we will not be able to proceed with a tentative fall commencement.  The current Halton Region Public Health Protocols do not allow us to have a gathering large enough to accommodate our graduates and their families.

We share your disappointment with this news, and we continue to explore other alternatives to host a commencement ceremony.  This may include a December celebration if Health Protocols permit.

For those graduates that have not already done so, we do ask that you follow up with Pegasus (https://secondary.hcdsb.org/loyola/news/2020/09/class-of-2020-grad-photos/) to have your grad photos taken for the composite.

When details for pick up of the yearbook, diploma and composite become available we will post the information on the website.

On behalf of the staff here at Loyola we want to recognize the resilience, compassion and leadership of the class of 2020.  We wish you all the best in your current pursuits and know that you will continue to be exemplary role models for our current students as you continue to treat everyone with dignity, equity and respect.
