Hey Hawks! The newspaper is inviting all students to submit photos of any original Holiday artwork . Paintings, drawings, digital art, arts and crafts creations, you name it! Please submit a picture or digital version of your art to Ms. Santarossa by Wednesday December 15th. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with!

Computer Science Education Week
Mrs. Alfano and Mr. Zoratti would like to thank all the classes who participated in computer Science Education week last week! We hope you enjoyed our visits as much as we enjoyed planning them. We still have some final prizes to give away though! Friday’s winner of the #CSEverywhere is Sonia Lisboa. Congratulations Sonia! And a bonus winner of an Amazon gift card goes to the student who completed the most #CSEverywhere activities. The winner is Matteo Sanchez. Congratulations Matteo! Now for the grand finale prize, a class pizza party! Our principal, Mrs. Halycz has kindly agreed to give a class pizza party to one lucky period 1 class AND one lucky period 2 class that participated in CSEdWeek. The winning period 1 class is Ms. Belmonte’s Gr. 9 Geography class. The winning period 2 class is Mr. McCarthy’s Gr. 11 Physics class.

Loyola Nordic Ski (LNXC) Team Results
The Loyola Nordic Cross Country Ski Team competed at their first race last Thursday at Hardwood Ski & Bike. The tema results in this varsity race were as follows:
In Girls Varsity, Jayden Toews was our top performer posting a 5th place finish. Brooke Anton rounded out the top 10 with a 10th place finish and Melena Gallo finished 12th in her first ever Nordic Ski Race!
in Boys Varsity, Jack Vermeeren finished 11th place.
The athletes showed a lot of determination and grit battling up hills and posting such strong results. A strong team performance to start the Nordic race season.
Loyola Alpine Ski & Snowboard (LASS) Team/Nordic XC Ski Team (LNXC)
Dryland training will continue today. Please meet with the coaches in the small gym at 2:30 to check in and begin training.
Sr. Boys Basketball Team
There will be a quick meeting immediately after school in the gym. Attendance is Mandatory.
Extra Homework Help for Gr. 9 & 10-All Subjects
Attention Grade 9 & 10 students who need extra homework help, we will be running free tutoring sessions in all subjects this week on Tuesday in room 239 from 2:30 – 3:30. All are welcome to drop in.
Girls Who Lift
