On April 19th, 2022, our school launched our Prom Pop-up “Sale” with repurposed formal wear for our school graduates!
The Prom Pop-up was created by the Eco Club, giving graduates an opportunity to choose an environmentally conscious and financially friendly option for prom.
Leading up to the event, the Eco Club invited members of our community to donate their gently used formal wear for the cause. The call out was a huge success, receiving over 285 donations of dresses, suits, shirts, shoes, dress pants and accessories!
Student “shoppers” are also invited, but not required, to make a donation to St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church’s humanitarian efforts to support Ukraine.
A big shoutout to the Loyola Eco Club for their organization of this amazing event! Thank you for giving our community a sustainable option for prom!
