We will be holding an Orange Shirt Day on Thursday September 30, 2021 to honour truth and reconciliation, commemorate the residential school experience and to witness and honour the healing journey of the survivors and their families.
We will be selling orange t-shirts designed by Ojibwe artist Isaac Murdoch for $25. All proceeds will support Mohawk Village Memorial Part for residential school survivors.
Students who order t-shirts can pick them up at the main office on Wednesday September 29, 2021 during their lunch. Please note there are both youth and adult sizes and limited quantities.
Students who do not wish to purchase a shirt are asked to wear orange on Thursday September 30 to show our support as a Loyola community. Please reach out to administration if you have any questions. Donations are also accepted via School Cash Online.
