Help me to give all my work the careful thought and the strict attention that will lead to success.
Let me be proud of my work and assignments and the dedication it takes to getting things done!
Watch over me and protect me from lazy moments and negative thoughts.
Help me to push through and do my work.

Dear God,
Let’s be honest…we will upgrade our phone and buy apps to make our lives better…so why don’t we do the same thing with our hearts and our actions?
We do need to ‘upgrade’ ourselves every so often.
We need to upgrade our capacity to forgive.
We need more memory to store the moments that are very important to us.
We need a better set of eyes to see people as You see them.
Let us connect better with our parents, siblings, and grandparents.
Help us to delete negative thoughts and comments made by myself or others.
Help us God to pay attention to the upgrades we need to make in our lives so that we can be the people you created us to be!
We ask for this upgrade through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We make the wrong choice.
The sooner we admit that we don’t know everything, the less other people can use our weaknesses against us.
Being a smart person means knowing that you don’t know EVERYTHING!
Help us to stand strong in what we do well.
Help us to be brave and try new things.
Help us to pick ourselves up from our failings, embrace the lesson, and live life to the best of our abilities!

It’s a welcome smile from behind a mask.
It’s a impromptu dance party in your kitchen.
It’s a text or a call from someone you haven’t heard from in a while.
You can’t plan every part of happiness!
Just let life happen and it will surprise you!
