Happy Easter everyone! Despite the circumstances, there is reason for hope and joy. God’s action in that Resurrection event of our Lord, is not a one-time event, buried deep in the past. It is something that happens again and again when we come together as community and witness to each other that the awful situations that happen in life do not have the final say. Nothing can quash that Easter joy and hope. “We will overcome,” as the African spiritual sings it.
