Aiding Ecuador and Our Own Community of Oakville

This past April, our STA Service Learning class of 24 students was scheduled to travel to Ecuador to take part in a service trip with ME-to-WE. Unfortunately, our trip was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, but Ecuador is still in need of our help, especially now. The healthcare system in Ecuador has taken a substantial hit during this time, causing their death rate to be one of the worst in the world. Even though we could not travel there this spring, we still want to do our part to aid those in need in Ecuador. With your help, we’re hoping to raise $1000. The donations will be sent to Ecuador in order to help support their healthcare system during these challenging times. Any donation, even a few dollars, is greatly appreciated. We also realize that during these difficult times, those within our own community of Oakville are in need more than ever. With that said, a portion of the donations that we receive from this initiative will be donated to Kerr Street Missions in order to help lend a hand locally. Please visit the link below in order to donate.  We hope that you will support us in assisting these causes that we are so passionate about. Together WE can make a difference.
