Take Your Kid to Work Day (Nov.1)

On Wednesday, November 1st, our grade 9 students will be joining all grade 9 students across Ontario in participating in Take Your Kid to Work Day events. This will allow students to participate in an in-person career exploration day or take part in a virtual event.

School Spirit Wear

Time to paint the town teal and show your Thunder pride! While the spirit wear is not part of our school uniform, it will be permissible to wear our spirit wear during our weekly spirit days (Thunder Thursdays).

Celebrating Our Catholic School Trustees During Local Government Week! 

“He or she who seeks the office of Catholic School Trustee is seeking an honourable position.” 

The third week in October is designated Local Government Week by the Provincial Government.

13th Annual Evening with Bishop Crosby to Support Students in Need!

On Monday, November 13th, members of our HCDSB community are invited to the 13th Annual Evening with Bishop Crosby for a night full of celebration and entertainment, to help support students in need in our Halton Catholic school communities.

IB Information Session – Thurs. Oct 19

On June 15, 2023, St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School was approved as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme!

This means that St. Kateri Tekakwitha is now pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

Rowan’s Law Day

On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, the Halton Catholic District School Board will be marking Rowan’s Law Day to raise awareness about concussions.

A concussion is a brain injury that is caused by a blow to the head,
