/**
 * Proxima Nova, served from this theme rather than Adobe's Typekit.
 *
 * Replaced <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.typekit.net/nwv2djt.css">
 * in header.php (Oct 2026). Typekit cost a render-blocking stylesheet on a
 * second host, which @imported a tracking stylesheet from a third
 * (p.typekit.net), before any font file could start. Now this file and the
 * font files come from the site's own host, and functions.php preloads the
 * two faces nearly every page uses (400, 700).
 *
 * Loaded on the front end by oxy_load_child_scripts() and in the block editor
 * by hcdsb_add_editor_styles(), so both name the same faces. The editor never
 * had proxima-nova before: the Typekit tag was only in the front-end header.
 *
 * FOUR WEIGHTS, AND ONLY FOUR
 * ---------------------------
 *   300 Light   400 Regular   600 Semibold   700 Bold
 *
 * Every font-weight in the child's style.css and the parent's theme-bs5.css
 * is one of these. Lambda's other values were written out as the face each
 * already rendered in (100 -> 300, 500 -> 400, 800/900 -> 700), so the
 * stylesheets say what appears. A weight in post content (Kadence blocks set
 * their own) still lands on one of the four: the browser picks the nearest
 * face, lighter first below 400 (so 100/200 draw Light), Regular for 500,
 * and heavier first above it (800/900 draw Bold).
 *
 * Compared with Typekit (300, 400, 700): 600 is now a real Semibold, where
 * Typekit drew Bold — the footer's school name, Morning Announcements card
 * links and the news category pills. Nothing else changes.
 *
 * Thin is deliberately absent and must not be added to this family: for any
 * weight under 400 the browser searches LIGHTER faces first, so a Thin face
 * here would take over every Light request.
 *
 * There are no italic files. Typekit served true italics for 300, 400 and 700;
 * <em> and <i> in proxima-nova are now the browser's slanted roman.
 *
 * woff2 only, every face: all browsers in use read it (Chrome 36+, Firefox
 * 39+, Safari 12+). A .woff of Light was listed after it as a fallback until
 * Oct 2026 and removed, since no browser here would ever need it.
 *
 * font-display: swap shows text in the fallback immediately and swaps when the
 * file arrives (Typekit's "auto" let Chrome hide text for up to 3s). The
 * preload makes the swap rare on a first visit; after that the files are
 * cached for ten years by the host's headers.
 *
 * LINE METRICS
 * ------------
 * The glyphs are identical to Typekit's (same widths to 0.1%, same cap height
 * and descenders), but these files carry smaller vertical metrics than
 * Typekit's builds — Regular 0.907 / 0.292 em against 1.079 / 0.325 — so text
 * with line-height: normal sat in a box up to 15% shorter and moved. The
 * overrides put Typekit's values back, measured in Chrome from its own files,
 * so the switch moves nothing: Light 107.9 / 30.4 %, Regular 107.9 / 32.5 %,
 * Bold 107.9 / 36.8 %. Semibold takes Bold's, because 600 rendered in Bold
 * before. Supported in Chrome and Firefox; Safari ignores them and keeps the
 * files' own metrics, which only shows where line-height is left at normal.
 *
 * Changing a font file: give it a NEW file name. These URLs carry no version,
 * and with the ten-year max-age a replaced file under the same name would
 * never reach returning visitors. Update the preload in functions.php to match.
