Nordic Ski Team Race Results

The Loyola Nordic Ski Team competed at the Hardwood Invitational race on Wed Jan 17 against a field of local high schools from the Barrie/Orillia area in addition to a large team of racers from St. Andrew’s College in Toronto.

Top results included

  • Francelina Dupont with a 2nd place in the Junior Girls 4km race
  • Alexandra Fuller with a 3rd place in the Junior Girls 4km race

The best result of the day was Antonio Toteda who went out ahead and stayed ahead of 2 hard charging racers from St. Andrew’s College to take 1st place in the Senior Boys 6km race beating the second place racer by just over 23 seconds!  A tremendous and exciting victory that came down to the wire and which had Antonio take top spot on the podium.  All racers showed high levels of improvement and the team looks forward to competing in the regional races which take place in mid February.

Prop Pop Up 2024

Just a reminder to our staff, we would like to provide our graduating students with help in finding their prom dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories by providing a Pop-up right here at Loyola!

Many of you have bought beautiful dresses and suits either for ourselves, or for our kids that you or they will not likely wear again. Please consider donating your very gently used Formal dresses, suits, shirts, ties, shoes, purses, jewellery and accessories – to our Prom Pop-up to support our next round of prom-goers!

Donations can be dropped off to Mrs. Scott in the Main Office. We simply ask to please be sure that your donations are clean, are in nearly new condition and are appropriate for formal wear. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Scott.

Thank you for your continued support!
