We continue playing songs coded by Mrs. Mascarenhas’ Indigenous Studies class and Mrs. Alfano’s Gr 10 math class that promotes one of the 94 Calls to Action outlined by the TRC. Today we are featuring a song coded by Ashley Pellico She writes “The call of action my song promotes is the 79th call; “We call on Canada to work with residential school Survivors, other indigenous people, and artists to plan for remembering residential schools and celebrating indigenous people and cultures.” I chose this call because it calls on the citizens of Canada to work with artists to remember residential schools as well as celebrate their culture and music. Attention Graduating Students
Graduating students over their time at Loyola that have successfully completed at least 5 business courses (including economics) are eligible for the Business Studies Certificate. Please complete the Google form link posted on the Student Services D2L homepage.
Please check your email account daily for communication regarding the pick up of grad gowns and tickets to the ceremony. We don’t know the date for pick up yet, but as soon as the gowns have arrived, we will email you to let you know. Also, if you were absent for the grad barbeque and did not pick up your grad swag, please see Mrs. Smith in room 211 to get it today.

Message for Students Writing Exams
Tomorrow after your exam until your final exam on June 19th there will be treats available outside of Hawks Haven after your exam. Please stop by the attendance off each morning before or after your exam to get your treat wrist band!
Therapy Dog Visits
Hey Hawks! On June 14, 18, 20, 21 and 25 we will be having a group of therapy dogs available for a little de-stress before your exam from 7:45am to 8:45am in the atrium.
