Debate Team News
This weekend two members of our Loyola Debate team qualified for Provincials. The team of Lauren McGuire and Mara Phillips had an impressive showing at the tournament against some difficult competition and finished as the top Catholic School in Halton!
Civvies Day – Wednesday, December 14th
There will be a paid civvies day this Wednesday December 14th in support of the World Wildlife Fund Canada. It will be a regular civvies day with no particular theme. Please pay through school cash online if you have not done so yet for this year.

Just a reminder, self nomination rationales for the Western National Scholarship Program are due n the Student Service D2L by 8:30am Monday December 19th!
Student Council
We will be hosting our annual LIVE Christmas concert on Thursday December 22nd, the last day of school before the holidays. We are looking for students and staff to perform in the concert. Singing, dancing, bands and musical instruments are all welcome. Please email Mrs. Stewart if you are interested in performing and then send a clip of your performance by Friday to Tabitha Stephenson and Mrs. Stewart. Auto Club
Hey Loyola! Do you have an interest in Auto but didn’t get into an Auto class? Come join the Auto Club! This is the last call for students wanting to join Auto Club which starts on Tuesday Dec. 13th. Any students interested in learning about cars, trucks, motorcycles, electric vehicles or if you just want to work with your hands for fun are welcome to join. Come to room 165 for an application form.
Auto Club is open to all students grades 9-12 an no experience is necessary. We will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 – 4:00 in the Auto Shop.
Space is limited so don’t miss out!
Student Senate
Remember to bring in your gently used clothing, toys, books and games to the atrium to support the student senate thrift store taking place on December 16th and 19th from 5pm to 7pm. The last day to bring in donations is December 16th.
Girls Who Lift
Reminder that Girls Who Lift runs after school Monday to Thursday until 3:30. Please see Mrs. Fu, Ms. Iafrate or Mrs. Chiaravalle for information on how to sign-up.
