Wellness Council
Hey Hawks! To help get our school into the Christmas spirit, the Wellness Council will be holding Just Dance today in the atrium during both lunches. So make sure to bring your dance moves and we can’t wait to see you there!
Varsity Girls Hockey
The girls varsity hockey team won their game against Assumption with a 4-1 win! Shout out to Amy Scott for a great game in net. Goals from Keana, Kenzie, Jordyn (tipped Teya’s shot) and Jill. Special mention to Mary for her assist!
Girls Who Lift
Reminder that Girls Who Lift runs after school Monday to Thursday until 3:30. Please see Mrs. Fu, Ms. Iafrate or Mrs. Chiaravalle for information on how to sign-up.
Glee Club Rehearsal
There will be a Glee Club Rehearsal today after school at 2:30 pm room 235.
Sr. Boys Soccer
For all those onn the Sr. boys soccer team trial list, there will be a training session on Friday morning at 7:00am inside the gym. Please bring proper footwear!
Student Council – Christmas Assembly
Loyola student council is hosting the annual LIVE Christmas assembly on Thursday December 22nd, the last day of school before the holidays. We are looking for students and staff to perform in the concert. Singing, dancing, bands and musical instruments are all welcome. Please email Mrs. Stewart if you are interested in performing and then send a clip of your performance by Friday to Tabitha Stephenson and Mrs. Stewart.
Loyola Christmas Concert – December 15th
All are welcome to the Loyola Christmas concert on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7pm featuring the Loyola Concert Band and the Loyola Glee Club. Admission is free!
Candygrams For Sale
Student council will be selling candycane o’gram’s all this week during both lunches in the atrium. For $0.50 you can send a candy cane to a friend. You must know what their homeroom class number is. they will be delivered during first period class next week!
Table Tennis Tournament
Hey Hawks! The sports leadership classes are hosting table tennis tournaments over 3a lunch on December 19th and 3b lunch on December 20th. Be sure to sign up using one of the QR codes posted around the school. Hope to see you there!
Student Senate
The HCDSB student senate environmental stewardship committee is hosting a thrift shop where students and community members can purchase donated items to reduce holiday waste! This event is taking place in the atrium at Loyola on December 16th and 19th from 5pm – 7pm. Please bring gently used clothing, toys, books and games and drop them in the blue bin in the atrium. Every item will be bought through tickets. Tickets are $2 and can be bought through school cash online and cash on the night of the thrift store. Donations will be accepted until this Friday!
