Waterloo Math Contest

Register for the last University of Waterloo Math Contest of the year. for grad 12s, this is the euclid Contest and it is on April 4th during periods 1 & 2. For grades 9 to 11, your contest is on April 5th during period 1. To register, pay the fee on School Cash Online before it closes on March 8th. Practice problems posted on line. See Mrs. Smith if you want the website or have any other questions.

Jr. Boys Hockey

There will be a brief meeting in room 197 right after school this Friday to sign up for Jr. Boys Hockey tryouts.

Loyola Mentors

Attention all grade 11 students, are you interested in becoming a grade 12 mentor next year? Are you interested in developing your leadership skills, make new friends, support, and planning mentor events? Then please stop by room 135 to pick up a mentor application from Mrs. Cheal. All types of leaders are welcome and ALL grade 11s can apply.

Applications are due end of day Wednesday March 8th. Don’t delay, this is an amazing opportunity. If you have any questions, please see or message Mr. Mojica or Mrs. Cheal.

Congratulations Swim Team

Congratulations to the 8 swimmers that competed at OFSAA in Windsor over the last two days. There wer so many amazing times swam by all of them. Shout out to Philip Kuziora for making the B final is his 200 Individual Medley. Also congrats to the Jr. Boys Relay Team for moving up from their ranking of 15th to 7th in the A final. And last but certainly not lease, a huge shout out to Liam Toews who won the Silver medal in BOTH of his individual races taking off more than 1 second in his 50 back and 50 breast!
