Tutoring for Grades 9 & 10 Students
Starting next Monday, February 14th, every Monday & Wednesday we will be running free tutoring for Grade 9 & 10 students in Room 239 from 2:30 – 3:30. Anyone is welcome to drop in!
Monday February 14th is Valentine’s Day Ciivies
Monday is Valentine’s Day so wear your red, white & pink ciivies. If you are not wearing these colours please remember you must be in full uniform.
Black History Month
Hey Hawks! To end off the second week of Black History Month, we want to let you know about Elle Canada’s article on “Inspirational Black Canadians To Know.” This article is about Black Canadian Women and non-binary people from Canada’s past and present, who have impacted Canada’s society in ways such as fashion, culture, athletices and politics. We also suggest that you all find the time to watch the film “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind”. This story is about a young boy who saved his entire village, after dropping out of school he taught himself physics and engineering. We hope you all were able to learn a thing or two about Black Culture this week at Loyola.
