Multicultural Club
The multicultural club will begin meeting again on Wednesdays after school in Room 247. On February 9th we will have students who have volunteered to teach Mandarin to anyone who is interested.

Loyola School Newspaper
Students of all grades that are interested in joining the school newspaper are invited to a meeting after school in room 233 this Thursday, Feb 10th.
Debate Team
There will be a debate meeting in Rm. 137 after school today (Feb. 9th. All members of the debate team are asked to attend. Regular meetings will resume starting tomorrow. See you there!

Black History Month
Hey Hawks! As we continue with our celebration of black history month, we want to bring your attention to a couple of great resources for you to watch and/or read. Check out HotDocs article on being black in Canada. This website has some great videos for you to watch that all focus on black history month and the meaning and impact of the celebration.
If you have some free time this weekend, be sure to watch the movie “Queen of Katwe” which shares the inspirational story of Phiona and her journey as a young chess player in Uganda.
