Discovery Day at Western
Registration for the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame’s Virtual Discovery Day in Health Sciences at Western University is now open. Discovery day will take place on Friday May 6, 2022 from 8:30 – 12:15. The link to register can be found on Student Services D2L under announcements.
Graduation Scholarships
This is also a reminder from Student Services about upcoming scholarship application due dates: IODE isdue this Friday, April 29th. Meridian’s Sean Jackson Scholarship is this Saturday, April 30th and Port Nelson’s Youth Award applications are due Sunday May 1st. Rotary Education Awards are due next Friday, May 6th.
Dodgeball Intramurals
Attention all grade 9 students, if you’re into dodging balls then we have the event for you! The intramurals grade 9 dodgeball ball of fame tournament will be hosted the week of May 2-6 in the main gym. So, gather up your teams of 5 and sign up during lunch. Entry is free and winners of the tournament will win a prize. There will be a table in the atrium with permission forms and additional information throughout this whole week. If you have already received a form, come to the table and drop it off. The deadline to hand in and collect forms will be the 29th of April.
