Girls Who Lift
This is a reminder that “girls who lift” will be on today after school in the weight room. All girls grades 9-12 are welcome to join in!
Volunteers Needed!
St. Teresa of Calcutta is excited for the return of our annual HOOPLA on Wednesday June 15th from 5pm. to 8pm. It will be a fun filled family event which includes: Food Trucks, Face Painting, Orb Ball races, Cotton Candy, Basket Raffles and more. In order to pull of this fantastic event they need some HELP! If you would like to volunteer please see Mrs. Rego in Student Services to sign up.
Track & Field
Congratulations to our Track and Field team! Our 4 by 100m junior girls relay team, Alyssa Stephenson, Natalia Murillo, Debbie Suleman, Julia Guatto and Sophia Caride have qualified or OFSAA this week! Alyssa Stephenson also qualified for the Junior girls 100m and 200m! We can’t wait to see them perform this week! Go Hawks!
Loyola Ultimate Team Results
Last week, Loyola’s Ultimate team competed at OFSAA after going undefeated through HCAA and GHAC. They finished OFSAA with a 4-2 record and placed FIFTH in Ontario!!! Stand out players include Matt Zanatta who scored 26 points across the tournament, Noah who battled through an injury and put his body on the line, Eli who threw an assist every time he stepped on the field, Guillermo who constantly boosted morale and orchestrated a massive comeback victory, and Deanna who torched defenders in every single game. Other stars is include Rachel Dias, Sophie Francis, Jack Galvan, Aaron Dias, Maggie Wilson, and Nick Zanatta. Thank you for an UNFOGETTABLE season!! RANKED FIFTH IN ONTARIO!
