Alpine Ski and snowboard (LASS) Team
Students interested in participating on the Loyola Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team are asked to submit their Athlete Profile Form to the coaches by tomorrow. Please submit the form to one of the coaches either today or tomorrow. There will also be a form drop-off folder outside of the Coop Office, room 170 in the tech hallway where forms can be submitted.

Anti-Bullying Week
Hey hawks, this week is anti-bullying week. At Loyola, we acknowledge the anti-bullying movement to let everyone know that bullying is not tolerated in our school. Our school is meant to be a safe space for every student. The wellness council is here to help create a welcoming environment for students. To show our support and bring school spirit, the wellness council will be holding multiple events throughout the week. Tuesday is tattoo Tuesday, Wednesday is bracelet making, and Thursday is face paint. All of these amazing events will be held in the atrium during both lunches. We can’t wait to see you there!
Civvies Day – Thursday Nov. 24th
There will be a Civvies Day on Thursday in support of Anti-Bullying Awareness Week. Students are asked to wear blue. The proceeds for this civvies day will go to the Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation. Students are asked to pay a one-time fee of $20 through school cash online. This donation is for all the civvies days for this school year.

Teddy Bear Donation Drive
Student council is hosting a teddy bear donation drive from Monday Nov 14th to Friday Nov. 25th to donate to McMaster Children’s Hospital. Bring in new teddy bears from 8-8:15 in the atrium for a chance to win one of three $20 cafeteria coupons! If you don’t want to buy a bear you can donate through school cash on line, in $5 increments, and you will still be eligible for a chance to win the cafeteria coupons!
School Play
The moment is finally here: our very first meeting for this year’s school play is coming up on Wed Nov. 23rd at 2:30 in the drama room – Rm 180. Information will be given and students will sign up to either audition, or be a part o our marketing team, tech team or production team. Opportunities for student leadership will also be discussed.
Girls Hockey
There will be a brief meeting in Room 133 right after school today.
Senior Winter Wonderland School Dance
Good morning Hawks! Get excited because school dances have made their comeback! We are thrilled to announce the Senior Winter Wonderland Dance for grade 11 & 12 students. Join us on Thursday December 1st from 6-9 in the cafeteria. Tickets are $10 and will be sold through school cash online. There will be a Jr. Dance for grade 9 & 10 students sometime around Valentine’s Day!
Reach For The Top Trivia Team
Loyola is running our REACH for the top trivia team, a competitive trivia team. Our next meeting is today after school in the library. No experience is required. See Mr. Hodges, Mr. Zoratti or Ms. D’Souza for more information.

The Acoustic Guitar Club runs today at 2:30 in room 151. No experience necessary so drop on in!
