Loyola Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team (LASS)
Loyola Snowboarders Eilah Garey, Danika Grenci, Emily Thresher, Kaitlyn Turnbull and Alyssa Volante competed at Snowboarding OFSAA last week at Devil’s Glen and scored a top 10 team result finishing in 10th place in the province.
The next day, the girls competed at the Provincial Boardercross at Beaver Valley with the following results:
- Emily Thresher and the GHAC 3 Team finished in 10th place
- Danika Grenci and the GHAC 2 Team finished in 6th place
- Kaitie Turnbull and Alyssa Volante and the GHAC 1 Team finished in 1st place in Ontario
An outstanding result for the girls over the 2 days of competition in the Ontario Provincial finals.
The coaches congratulate the girls on their dedicated and focused training throughout the season which has led to the achievement of these excellent results.
The girls are asked to meet with the coaches today at 2:30pm to collect some hardware.
Please meet with the coaches in the Coop Office, Room 170 at 2:30pm today.

Badminton Tryouts
Badminton Tryouts begin tomorrow. Seniors are on Tuesday at 7:00am. Juniors are on Wednesday at 2:30pm. Be sure to bring your signed forms in order to participate in the tryouts.
