World Autism Day

Autism Canada defines autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviours, and speech and nonverbal communication.

Here are three facts about autism:

● Autism occurs in all racial, ethnic and socio-economic groups.

● Autism develops from a combination of genetic and nongenetic, or environmental, influences.

● 1 in 66 children is diagnosed with autism.

Kindness Campain Envelopes will be delivered tomorrow morning to every first period class.
