World Down Syndrome Day March 23

On March 23rd, we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, which the United Nations officially adopted in 2012. Ontario also formally proclaimed this day as Ontario Down syndrome day in 2016.

To celebrate Down syndrome day, people worldwide will wear silly and mismatched socks, reminding us that every person is unique. Join in the celebration and wear your silly socks and YELLOW or BLUE shirts (uniform bottoms, please) on Thursday, March 23rd.

For more information, visit the websites of the Down Syndrome Association of Ontario (www.DSAO.ca) or the Down Syndrome Association of Simcoe County (www.DSASC.ca).
