Student Services

Volunteer hours will be accepted after September 22nd. We appreciate your patience as we work through this busy time.

Attention grade 11s and 12s! Are you interested in getting some volunteer hours? Are you really good at math and/or science? If so, WE NEED YOU! We are looking for peer tutors in math and science – please contact Ms. Orlando in Student Services or fill out an application on the Student Services D@L page under “Assignments”. The commitment is 1-2 times a week and the hours can be put towards your community service hours graduation requirement!

The Canadian Cancer Society is offering a virtual volunteer fair this evening at 7pm. They will cover a variety of volunteer opportunities for students from event planning to advocacy. Go to cancer.ca/volunteerfair for more information. You can also find the link on Student Services’ D2L.

Also if you are in Grade 12 and interested in applying for the Loran Scholarship, make sure you attend one of the Loran Webinars!  The first one is next Monday, September 25th at noon.  See the Student Services D2L for more information.
