Computer Science Education Week!

The winner of the “Computer Science word of the day” for yesterday is Matthew Rebelo who was the first to correctly guess one of these possible answers: programmer, coder or developer and he will receive a prize.

Programmers and the code they write have impacted how we live on a daily basis.  Knowing how to code is like having a super power and should be used to benefit the common good of our society. In the atrium today during lunches, come try out some of the games that students have coded in their computer science classes.

Now, here are today’s 5 clues for the “Computer science word of the day”:

Slips, Trips and Falls Announcements

The risk of slipping, tripping, and falling increases dramatically during winter months. To help yo stay safe this season, here’s a winter safety tip to prevent slips, trips and falls:

Scan the path six or more feet ahead of you for trip hazards. Make sure your route ahead is clear of hazards such as rocks, clumps of snow or a stray branch.
