Transportation SHSM Students

All Transportation students in grades 10,11 & 12 please remember to get your international Auto Show Permission forms from Mr. Pender in room 165 ASAP to reserve your ticket to the show. Do not wait or you may lose your spot.

Trivia Night

Volunteers are needed for this Friday nights trivia night. In one day you can get 8-10 hours! See Chaplain Wayne asap to sign up and confirm.

Get a table together to compete against other teams and teacher tables. Groups like Student Council, BSA, GSA, Sports teams – get a table together. $10 each or $100 for a table of 10-Snacks and pop included! Prizes as well!

Valentine Candygrams

Student Council will be selling Valentine Candygrams in the atrium during both lunches for 50 cents eacvh or 5 for $2. You will need to know your friend’s 1st period class teacher or room #. Be sure to bring in your quarters or pay through school cash on line and bring your receipt to send candy to your friends and secret admirers!

Math EQAO

Attention students who wrote the math EQAO last semester. If you did not pick up your results on exam review day, please go to see your math teacher this week to get them.

Math help is today after school in room 211.

Student Services

TODAY is the LAST day to make any timetable changes to Semester 2 classes.

Night school registration for Semester 2 is still open.  You must register through your myblueprint account by Wednesday, February 14th!

Schulich Builders Scholarship Rationales are due to Mrs Luis by next Thursday, February 15th.

FYI – Course Selection Presentations for the 2024-25 school year will be commencing this Tuesday, February 13th.

Student Locks

This announcement is for students who do not have a lock on their locker. All lockers must be locked at all times. Lockers that are missing a lock will have their contents removed and a gold school lock placed on the locker beginning next week. If you need a combination lock, please see Mrs. Zaborski in attendance.

Loyola Book Club

Computer Science for Young Women Workshop

Last Call! Any girls in grade 9 & 10 who love math and want to explore the wonderful world of computer science, can apply to a workshop in Computer Science for Young Women at the University of Waterloo. Please email Mrs. Alfano at alfanoa@hcdsb.org for more details.

Also those students who want to write the University of Waterloo Computer programming contest must go on School Cash Online to pay the registration fee by the end of today.
