Girls Rugby Team
For any girls in grades 9-12 who are interested in playing Rugby this year, there will be a brief meeting in room 195 right after school this Wednesday. No experience is needed! If you cannot attend the meeting on Wednesday but are interested in playing, please speak to Mr. Rivard.
Loyola Nordic Ski (LNXC) Team
The Loyola Nordic Ski Team competed at the Mayfield Invitational race on Thu Feb 8 at Highlands Nordic, one of the only places in the province with trails still covered in snow.
Top results included
- Luca Toteda with a 1st place finish in the Junior Boys 4km race
- Francelina Dupont with a 15th place in the Junior Girls 4km race
A stellar result for Luca who now joins his brother Antonio as skiers who have 1st place finishes this year. We have had 3 races this season and the athletes have been getting stronger with each race. Next up is GHAC this Thu Feb 15 at Highlands Nordic which will qualify the team for the OFSAA Provincials in Kawartha on Feb 22/23. Lots more racing for this group of snow seekers!
