“The Audition” School Play Performance

Tickets for the night performance of our school play “The Audition” on February 22nd will be available today at lunch and up until Feb. 21st. The show promises to be both hilarious and heartbreaking. Get your tickets today! They are available through school cash on line for $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

Waterloo Computer Programming Contest

A reminder to those students writing the Waterloo Computer programming contest tomorrow. Please meet in room 285 by 8:15am sharp to set up.

Loyola Nordic Ski (LNXC) Team  

The Loyola Nordic Ski Team competed at the GHAC / Region of Peel OFSAA Qualifiers last week with some outstanding overall results. 

The Senior Boys 7.5km race featured Nathan Plumley in 15th place, Santiago Lopez Carreon with a strong 12th place result and Antonio Toteda coming in 5th place. Luca Toteda also had a top 10 finish coming in 8th place in the Junior Boys 5.5km race. 

In the 5.5km Junior Girls race, Alexandra Fuller finished just outside of the top 10 in 13th place and our best result of the day was Francelina Dupont who took 1st place overall almost 2 minutes faster than the rest of the field.  This group of snowseekers make their way this week to the Kawartha’s to compete in OFSAA against the best Nordic skiers in the province on Thu Feb 22.  More race news to come following this week’s provincials which close out our long and busy ski racing season.    

The skiers are asked to meet today at the Coop Office at 2:30pm to discuss final details of the trip to OFSAA. 

Junior Boys Hockey

This announcement is for any boys interested in trying out for the Junior Hockey Team. There will be a brief meeting Thursday right after school in room 197.

Girls Flag Football

Attention all grade 9-12 girls interested in trying out for flag football there will be a meeting today after school in room 237.

Graduation Logo

Attention grade 12s. Make your mark on this year’s graduating class by creating a logo to represent the class of 2024. Students will vote for the logo to be used. See the Student Services D@L page under announcements for more information.

MLL Live Different Leaders

There will be a brief planning meeting immediately after school this Thursday, February 22 in room 247. See Mr. Mojica if you have any questions or cannot attend.
