Student Services

Summer School Registration is Now Open! To register for a Summer School course, you must register through your myblueprint account. Select the “Continuing Education” tab located on the left side, then “Explore Courses” then “Summer School – Online Learning”. Students that need to change their 2024-25 School Year Course Selection must do so prior to the April19th Course Verification deadline!

Reminder: Application due dates for many scholarships are fast approaching: University Women’s Club of Oakville’s Scholarships – Monday, April 22nd Don MacDonald Optimist Award – Wednesday April 24th Oakville Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Education, Oakville Youth Education, Halton Learning Foundation, Halton Regional Chinese Canadian Scholar, IODE and Lion’s Club are all due Friday April 26th!

Ultimate Frisbee

A message from the Ultimate Frisbee Team. There will be an “open practice” on Friday after school, for any students looking to play pickup intramurals. You do NOT need to be on the Ultimate Frisbee team in order to participate. If you already submitted a form for tryouts, just show up! If you don’t have a form, please see Mr. Zoratti.

Girls Flag Football

Congratulations to the girls flag football team who came in SECOND at their tournament. They beat Notre Dame 30-6, Bishop Ryan 38-11 and HT 38-10. In the finals, they lost in the last 30 seconds to Assumption. Big shoutout to Robyn Wood & Nuju Ubosi on their amazing work. Wishing the girls luck on Monday!!!

Message for Graduates

Attention graduates. This is a reminder that your grad fee is due this Sunday. This fee is needed to participate in the graduation ceremony and the senior barbeque. Prom tickets are also on sale for the next 2 weeks. Both the graduation fee and the prom tickets are available on SchoolCashOnline, and are 2 separate payments. Please see your VP if you need financial assistance covering one or both of these fees. At this time, prom tickets are only on sale for grade 12 Loyola students. If you wish to bring a guest, you must fill out a guest form before Monday April 29th. Forms are available in the attendance office. Please see an important email from Mr. Cianciolo that was sent out on Monday for more information about prom, and specifically about guests.

Earth Day Activities

Hello Loyola Family! Earth day is fast approaching and we want to make sure we are doing our part. Oakville Parks Ambassador is coordinating a cleanup at Aldercrest Park and the area surrounding Loyola on SATURDAY APRIL 20TH Cathy Buchanan is setting up at the walk bridge at the end of Blackthorn Place on Saturday at 9 am RAIN OR SHINE She will have bags and gloves for student volunteers and you will be able to get community service hours if you are interested. Its a great way to get your volunteer hours and help the planet! 

Eclipse Glasses Donation

Hello Loyola Family If you have your eclipse glasses and want to recycle them please bring them to the main office there will be a bin where you can drop them off. They will be donated to other countries

Spring Coffee House

Hey Hawks! Student council is excited to announce our Spring Coffeehouse. We’re looking for performers of any talent including singing, instruments, bands, dancing and much more! Please send auditions to Mrs.Stewart or Lourdes De Alejandro by April 29th to be considered! Also, please fill out the Google Form available on Student Council’s Instagram @loyolalsc. We hope to see all of your incredible talents Loyola!

Multicultural Day

Hey Hawks! Get ready because Multicultural Day is coming back to Loyola on Wednesday, May 15th! If you are interested in having your own booth to showcase your culture on both lunches and/or perform in the multicultural showcase during Period 4, you must attend a mandatory meeting to sign up! This meeting will be on Tuesday, April 23rd in Room 298 at 2:30pm. Check out the posters around the school or contact Ms. Alexe for more information! Hope to see you there!
