ECO Club

Hello Loyola Family! April 22nd 2024 is Earth Day 🌎 in Canada As a school community we are going to have a neighbourhood clean up event to do our part in helping the planet! Stay tuned for more activities from the Eco club.

Waterloo Math Contests

This is a reminder for those students in grades 9 to 11 that signed up for University of Waterloo math contest that it is tomorrow. Please be in the cafeteria for 8:15 tomorrow morning. And if you are in grade 12 and writing the Euclid Math contest, you need to be in room 205 at this point. See Mrs. Smith with any questions. Lastly, a reminder that the Caribou Math contest is also today during period 3A or after school in the library computer lab.

Junior Dance

Student council is hosting a Junior dance on Thursday April 11th. The dance is for grade 9 and 10 students and will be held in the school cafeteria. Tickets can be purchased for $15 on school cash online and will include the Photobooth, snacks and beverages. There are limited amount of tickets available so please buy your tickets now. We look forward see you for a fun night of dancing!

Student Services

Students are asked to review next year’s course selection on their POWER SCHOOL account – not their myblueprint account. Students that need to make a change to their course selection the 2024-25 school year, may complete the form posted in Student Services’ D2L. Please note the changes that can be made at this time: 1. Students that are planning to take a course in SUMMER SCHOOL and wish to add in the new course. This INCLUDES students planning to take RELIGION this summer or any course that is offered in summer school. Now is the time to change it. 2. Students that made an error on their myblueprint account and need to make a change. 3. Pathway changes.

Lost & Found

This is a message for everyone. All of the items in our Lost & Found have been placed on tables in the atrium. If you have lost something please be sure to check to see if it is there and please only take what is yours. Items not collected by the end of the day on Friday will be donated to a local charity. Also, if you have lost any jewellery, keys or airpods since September, please see Mrs. Scott in the Main Office.

Prom Pop-up

This message is for all graduating students, our Class of 2024! Just a reminder that our Prom pop-up is open this week during 3B lunch. Come on down to your Learning Commons aka the Library to check out all of the beautiful items we have that are available to you for free! We have over 40 beautiful full length dresses, we’ve got some heals as well as many stylish Suits, tons of ties and more! We’ve got pop-up change rooms so you can try things on and if you want to book a time outside of your lunch hour, simply “pop” into the main office and see Mrs. Scott to book a time that works for you. Whether you are just thrifty and want to save some money, you want to be environmentally friendly and recycle, or if you just need a little helping hand, this is the place for you!
