Dress Loud Day (Voice for children who are deaf and hard of hearing)

May is a time to raise public awareness about hearing, speech, language, and communication. As a part of May Speech and Hearing Month, the Halton Chapter of VOICE For Children Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing is launching its annual Dress Loud Day. Dress Loud is a school spirit day that encourages all participants to dress in their loudest, most colorful outfits to create awareness about the impact of hearing loss. This year, Dress Loud Day will be Monday, May 13th. May 13th has already been scheduled for a tropical-themed spirit day; please use this day to wear your LOUDEST tropical wear!

Chromebook return

Loyola, here is a math problem for you: Ada was traveling at 20 kilometers per hour for half an hour while carrying a Dell Chromebook. How far did she travel with the Chromebook? Answer: until June because Chromebooks have to be returned well before Math EQAO starts on June 14th If you have a Chromebook currently signed out and are not using it, please return it to your Learning Commons (a.k.a.) library as soon as possible. Please stay tuned for further math-related announcements regarding the return of Chromebooks. Chromebooks cannot be signed out for a infinite period of time.
