The Halton Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (CPIC) invites parents and guardians of the Halton Catholic District School Board to nominate themselves or a parent they know for CPIC!
CPIC, a Ministry of Education mandated committee, is a group of parents, trustees and board staff who actively support parent engagement and involvement throughout our school district.
Membership Requirements
As per Policy VI-84 Catholic School Councils and Catholic Parent Involvement, CPIC requires three (3) parent representatives from each geographical area (Oakville, Burlington and North Halton) and one (1) member at-large.
CPIC is looking for new members to fill the positions of outgoing members:
- One (1) parent representative in Burlington;
- One (1) parent representative in Oakville;
- One (1) parent representative in North Halton; and
- One (1) At-Large parent representative.
Parent Representative positions are for a two (2) year term, beginning September, 2023 to August, 2025.
CPIC is also looking to fill the position of Community Representative for the 2023-2024 term. The term of the Community Representative role will run from September 2023 to August 2024.
Deadline for Nominations
Online nominations will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. on April 12, 2023. The receipt of your nomination will be confirmed by email.
