Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to provide an update on the construction of your new school building, located on the southeast corner of Louis St. Laurent Avenue and Kennedy Circle.
We are happy to report that the construction of the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School building is progressing well, and we are on schedule for completion within the projected timelines. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we are optimistic that your new building will be ready to open its doors by September 2024.
While we are encouraged by the current progress and optimistic that we will be able to meet our timelines, we have developed contingency plans with alternate moving dates to ensure the continuity of instruction and minimal disruption to your school community, should there be any delays in the construction timeline.

We will continue to do all we can to expedite the completion of this construction project and meet our timeline for completion by September 2024. We will keep sharing significant updates via email as they become available. We also post monthly construction updates on the HCDSB School Planning website.

New Student Registrations
As we begin the 2024-2025 school year registration process, we look forward to welcoming new students to the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School community.
If you currently have children attending another school board and would like to register them at St. Kateri for next school year, you will find information about how to register for secondary school at HCDSB on our board website.
Please feel free to share this update with friends and family who live in the St. Kateri catchment area.
