We know that making the jump from elementary to high school is a milestones for all families. The St. Kateri Tekakwitha Grade 8 Information night will take place on Wednesday, November 6th from 6:30 – 8:00pm.
The first half of the presentation will be about core grade 8 registration into our school. Around 7:15p we will be going into details about some of our specialty programs like the Pre-International Baccalaureate Program and IB Diploma Program).
There is value in our core and specialty programs. It can be valuable to some families to keep all doors open. Come and learn about our core programs, Advanced Placement Prep, Extended French, French Immersion and Pre-International Baccalaureate Program. We are one of the only secondary schools in Ontario to offer all of these programs. There are some great opportunities to combine many of these programs to give yourself a competitive advantage. Students and families need to be reflective on their individual strengths and needs so that a customized high school program can be selected.
Students will have a chance to get a tour of the school while the parents listen to the presentations. Other teachers will be on hand to provide information about courses and specialty programs.
