In September of last year, a team of high school students from BRCSS, Mustafa Siddiqui, Rhea Gokhale, Rachel Wu, and Maya Wali started an initiative called Mindfull for HOSA Canada’s community awareness event.
In September, 2016, the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) launched a new multi-year plan. Each year, the Director of Education reports back to the Board of Trustees on the specific steps undertaken across our school system that align with the goals established in our strategic plan.
Last year a group of high school students at Bishop Reding CSS, Anaya Bhushan, Leila Tagu, Nawal Faysal, and Shanzey Ali, started an initiative called the Naps Project for HOSA Canada’s community awareness competitive event.
The Ministry of Education in partnership with the HCDSB and the Halton Region Public Health, has allowed schools to provide an opportunity for students to come in and collect their personal belongings from lockers and to drop off school items that they have borrowed.

BR Student & NASA Intern Schanze Sial is "reaching for the stars" & is hard at work - having completed a Mars & Beyond project, looking at challenges of Mars exploration, increased her understanding of latitude & the astronomical coordinate system and attending NASA lectures. 🚀
