As part of our Jubilee 2025 celebrations, HCDSB is continuing the Heroes of Hope initiative, inspired by the Diocese of Hamilton campaign. This initiative recognizes individuals within our school communities who embody the values of Pilgrimage, Solidarity, Humility, and Human Dignity – the four sub-themes of our Jubilee year.
Human Dignity Theme – Nomination Criteria
For the months of November and December, we are celebrating the value of Human Dignity.
Nominees should demonstrate:
- Recognition that we are all created in the image of God and have worth that no one can give or take away;
- Through their words and actions, that every person has special value; and
- An appreciation that all people deserve respect, kindness, and love.
Nominate Someone!
You are invited to nominate anyone from our Corpus Christi community – staff, students, parents/guardians, or community members – who exemplify the value of Human Dignity.
