Graduation Information

Good afternoon Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2022,

Congratulations on the upcoming Graduation of your child! All parents of students currently enrolled in grade 12 are receiving this email.  This may not apply to you if your child is a returner who graduated last year.

Please save the date: Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. for the Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School Graduation Ceremony to be held in the school’s gymnasium.

We are hopeful and excited at the prospect of returning to in-person Graduation Ceremonies. More specifics and event details will follow as public health guidelines are updated.  Guests (limited to 2 per graduate) will be able to attend given the current outlook.  Please note that if we are asked to shift the plans we will be transparent and share this information in a timely matter as it becomes available to us.

More information regarding graduation can be found at our Grad Website. Please check often — we will continue to update the site as the date draws nearer:

We kindly request that the 2022 graduation fee ($90 per graduate)  be submitted by March 23, 2022 in order to confirm your child’s participation at this year’s event.  Please make payment at School Cash Online: https://hcdsb.schoolcashonline.com/

The graduation fee includes the following:

Graduation Gown, V-Stole, Cap & Tassel (yours to keep)

Two guest tickets to the ceremony

Rentals and décor

Graduation Brunch (for students only) following Grad mass and rehearsal

Graduation Keepsake

Diploma Holder

Class of 2022 Lawn Sign

Please note that the Graduation Fee does NOT cover the cost of a ticket to the Corpus Christi Dinner Dance.  We are waiting to hear back from the venue regarding a confirmed date, cost, and any possible restrictions or public health requirements.  More information will be coming on this from the organizers of the event:  Mrs. DiGiacinto, Mrs. Griffin and Mrs. Pierias.  You may also have heard students speaking about a Student-run event.  This “fake prom” (the term students use to describe it) is not supervised by school staff and is, in NO WAY, supported by the school.  We do not sell tickets to the student-run event.

Thank you for your continued partnership in Catholic education.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Kathleen Moro, Principal

Mrs. Val Kelenc and Mrs. Sandra Jurinic, Co-Chairs of the Graduation Committee
