Computer Science Education Week!

Thank you for all the guesses of yesterday’s “Computer Science word of the day”.  Jonathan Lavoie was the first to correctly guess the word “mouse” and he will receive a prize.

Did you know that the basic idea for the mouse first came to Doug Engelbart in 1961 while sitting in a conference session on computer graphics.  His first prototype was made out of wood.  The invention of the mouse had a major impact on the design of the computer screen and the first steps on the road to modern touch screens.

Now, here are today’s 5 clues for the “Computer science word of the day”:

Slips, Trips and Falls Announcements

The risk of slipping, tripping, and falling increases dramatically during winter months. To help yo stay safe this season, here’s a winter safety tip to prevent slips, trips and falls:

Avoid carrying items that reduce your ability to see the ground in front of you. Whether it’s one ig item or five small ones, ask for help or take multiple trips so that you are never obstructing your sight.
