On Saturday, April 22, 2023, HCDSB students, staff and families are invited to attend: Weaving the Braid of Unity taking place on Earth Day, 2023!
Members of our HCDSB community will be able to experience:
- A series of workshops, including the Making of drums, strikers and leather bags through 101 Deweguns; mental wellness and Indigenous land-based learning; pollinating seeds for Indigenous gardening with Mohawk Seedkeepers; and the ECO Club Community
- Indigenous wisdom and culture through Grandmother’s Voice
- Artisan flair, food, music, entertainment and more!
