Members of the community are invited to an upcoming virtual Advent presentation hosted by the Halton Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (CPIC): Opening The Doors Of Advent ~ What Are You Waiting For?
CPIC is a group of parents, trustees and staff who actively support parent engagement and involvement at the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB). The committee provides opportunities for networking and hosts informative presentations on a number of education and parent related topics throughout the school year.
Opening The Doors Of Advent ~ What Are You Waiting For?
Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
In preparation of the Advent season, this session will discuss how HCDSB families can honour and celebrate the gifts of family and community, and learn about the meaning of Advent from a theological perspective.
The session will be presented by Gillian Federico, System Chaplain and Faith Formation Lead; and Patricia Dal Ben, Religious Education Curriculum Consultant at HCDSB.
The virtual presentation will take place on Microsoft Teams, and a Q&A period will be offered in the session.
