Attention Grade 12s – lots of great scholarship opportunities have been posted on the Student Services’ D2L and deadlines are fast approaching. Make sure to check them out! The Maycourt Scholarship deadline is next Wednesday April 17th & course change requests are due Friday April 1
Sr. Washington Trip
Attention gr. 11 and 12 students traveling to Washington in a few weeks. There will be a mandatory meeting after school on Thursday April 11 in room 135 to discuss very important travel information in preparation for our departure. Please make arrangements to attend. If you absolutely cannot attend the meeting please speak to Mrs. Cheal.
Junior Dance
The Junior Dance is tonight from 6-8:30 in the school cafeteria. Please bring photo ID to show at the door. A few reminders: • there will be NO access to lockers during the event • NO prohibited substances, outside food or drinks • NO non-Loyola guests permitted • Students are not allowed to leave the building and come back into the school. It is not too late to buy your tickets, the sale has been extended to 2:00pm today. We are looking forward to a fun night of dancing!
Waterloo Chemistry Contest
Any students interested in writing the Waterloo Chemistry Contest are asked to sign up in Room 284 or 298. Please see Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Toews or Ms. Alexe for more details. Any grade 11 or 12 students who took chemistry last semester or are presently taking chemistry this semester are welcome to write the contest.
Virtual
Any grade 9 or 10 students who need help uploading their virtual student card ID for the dance please see Mrs. Scott in the Main Office.
Student Services
Summer School Registration is Now Open! To register for a Summer School course, you must register through your myblueprint account. Select the “Continuing Education” tab located on the left side, then “Explore Courses” then “Summer School – Online Learning”. Students that need to change their 2024-25 School Year Course Selection must do so prior to the April19th deadline!
Mentors
Attention grade 10 students who applied to be a grade 11 mentor, the final list has been posted on the door of room 135. Please ensure you read all the instructions posted. We will be holding an introductory meeting tomorrow on your lunch in room 135.
