Relay For Life – Pie A Teacher Showdown
Hey Hawks, its almost here, tomorrow is our “Pie a teacher in the Face Showdown” happening during both lunches, in the cafeteria, the stage is set… and your favourite teachers and coaches are stepping into the whip cream zone.
Remember, we DO NOT take debit on the day of the event, so get some cash out of the bank or get your tickets through School Cash Online, you won’t want to miss this one.
For just $5 a pie — or 5 pies for $20 — you get the chance to take aim and pie one of our teachers in the face, whether it’s your favourite teacher… someone who’s been giving a little too much homework lately or your team coach who has given you just one too many push-ups to do, if you are brave enough now is your chance. This is your moment to show up and maybe make a little school history.
Rally your friends, make a plan, and get ready for some unforgettable, whipped-cream-filled chaos! Who’s getting pied the most? Who’s got the best aim? And which Hawk is going to land that perfect shot? This is your chance to pie Mr. Chambers, Mr. White, Mr. Rivard, Mr. Angaran, Ms. Orlando, Mr. Costa, Mr. Esposito, Mr. O’Neil, Mr. Buzzelli, Mr. DiNardo, Mr. Colalillo and of course our one and only Mr. O’Hara! Don’t miss out!

Dance Team Results
We’re excited to share the results from our final competition of the season at the Strive Dance Competition at Mohawk College in Hamilton, that took place this past Tuesday April 28. Our group piece, “Sign of the Times,” earned a Diamond Award, while Monika and Vanessa’s duet “Just Before We Go” received a Platinum Award and placed first in its category once again. Our dancers delivered beautiful, skilled, and truly emotional performances, leaving it all on the stage. A special shoutout goes to our graduating captains, Celina R. and Romina B., for their outstanding leadership and choreography this year. We also want to recognize our graduating dancers—Ava P., Amelia B., Monika S., and Vanessa E.—who have made history as part of Loyola’s first-ever dance team. Thank you to all of our dancers for an amazing season and for representing Loyola with such pride and dignity. We are so incredibly proud of the entire team and are already looking forward to next year.
