Valedictorian Applications are Now Open
Congrats future Grads of Corpus Christi – you’re almost there!
In saying this, it is time to select one student to represent the student body as the Valedictorian of the 2024 Corpus Christi Graduating Class.
In order to successfully apply and be part of the selection process, you must be:
- A student in good standing, achieving a minimum overall average of 75% in this academic school year (confirmed by Student Services) You must also appear on the potential graduate list
- A student who represents the ideals of the HCDSB’s commitment to dignity, equity and respect, and meets both classroom and larger school expectations (confirmed by Administration)
- A student who can act as a voice and speak to the variety of experiences of the entirety of the graduating class
- A student who exemplifies Christian values and exemplifies the Catholic Graduate Expectations
Want to apply? Download and complete the Valedictorian Application below. Application & nomination speech must be submitted by Fri. May 17th at 12PM!
On Wednesday. May 22nd, 2024, there will be an assembly for all Grade 12 classes during Period 2 to present nomination speeches to the graduating class. Voting will be done digitally via a link sent to Grade 12 teachers. Voting will be closed by Thursday May 23rd at 2PM.
Our Class of 2024 Valedictorian will be announced on Thursday, May 23rd at the end of the day.
